You'll train at the British School of Osteopathy (BSO)Teaching Centre with 8 days in the classroom taken in two
four-day blocks:
Module 1 - Sept 6th-9th 2011
Module 2 - Sept 13-16th 2011
At the end of your class room study you will sit both a practical and theory exam which will take place in London on 8th October.
What’s included
You can enrol on the diploma if you hold the following qualifications in:
Anatomy and Physiology, Level 3 (eg. ITEC, MTI, VTCT or equivalent)
Swedish/Holistic massage, Level 3 (eg. ITEC, MTI, VTCT or equivalent)
Once qualified you will:
Know exactly which muscles you need to treat and why
You'll be achieving outstanding results with your clients competently, safely and effectively applying a variety of deep tissue techniques both through clothing and combined with massage
Save your hands and work with improved posture in order to facilitate leverage and massage using forearms, elbows fist and palms
Safely use and instruct your clients on different forms of stretching; an important part of homecare advice

What to expect: In a nutshell
The London Massage Company Advanced & Deep Tissue Massage Diploma is 80-90% practical in nature with the theory integrated into practice. All the practical elements of the Advanced & Deep Tissue Massage syllabus will be
covered in class and you will be on your feet and actively involved for most of the course! Students especially love the Clinic Days where you will assess and when appropriate, treat real clients.
Some subjects are covered by supported home study, but there are NO case studies to be done.
