Workshop 17:
Strapping & Taping

Accredited by the FHT and STO - Advanced Training, 5 credits.

Student, or qualified sports massage therapists who feel that strapping and taping may be of benefit to their practice or they need to refresh and revise techniques.

Where you'll train
For this workshop we’re at the British School of Osteopathy (BSO)Teaching Centre.

A workbook accompanies the day and a certificate of attendance is awarded.

On this 100% practical day taught by Alan Rowe, Osteopath and Sports Massage Practitioner practise strapping and taping your classmates for common sporting and everyday musculoskeletal injuries

This workshop meets the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the application of strapping & taping in sports therapy as set out by Skills Active.

On the day you'll learn techniques for treating common conditions including:
Dislocations
Ankle sprains
Muscle strains
Plantar fasciitis
Achilles injuries
Tennis Elbow
Ligament injuries of the knee

Contraindications to strapping & taping will also be covered.
